Ghost Host is a serious game for children between the ages of 8 and 12, which breaks down the topics of space consumption in agriculture as well as foodwaste in a playful and understandable way.
It was developed by Emma McMillin and Larissa Wild as part of their Bachelor Project and in cooperation with the project Foodscape, a project of the ZHAW and the ZHdK to develop learning units for teaching home economics.

Ghost Host works with real data on land consumption in Swiss agriculture. This data was provided by Foodscape.
In 2019, Ghost Host made it to the finalist of the Swiss Student Sustainability Challenge of the University of Applied Sciences of Northwestern Switzerland
